Presence of God Quotes

Nothing will change your life quicker than a divine encounter with the presence of God. His presence is all encompassing and demands your attention. Throughout the generations there have always been believers who sought the face of God and received from Him. Let us be among those who will not settle for a Christian life void of His presence but will pursue Him with all our heart. Let the quotations below sink deep into your spirit and stir in your heart a greater desire for God.

Revive America!

Today we are closer to the return of Jesus than any other generation. Our nation clearly needs to return to its roots of righteousness and faith in God. I pray that the quotations below will stir in you a desire to see a greater move of God in our nation. Through prayer and the presence of God we can see revival in America!

“America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture. I have a very simple thing to ask of you. I ask every man and woman in this audience that from this day on they will realize that part of the destiny of America lies in their daily perusal of this great Book (the Bible).” —Woodrow Wilson, May 7, 1911, Denver, Colorado

“A genuine revival without joy in the Lord is as impossible as spring without flowers, or day-dawn without light.” – Charles Haddon Spurgeon

“Revival never falls on the casual seekers of Christ. Instead, it falls on those who are seeking the Lord with all of their hearts. The Lord will visit those willing to yield to Him.” – Frank Bartleman

“[To see revival] we need to pray for breakthrough in private, but then take risks in public.” –Bill Johnson

“How we have prayed for a Revival – we did not care whether it was old-fashioned or not – what we asked for was that it should be such that would cleanse and revive His children and set them on fire to win others.” – Mary Warburton Booth

Raging Fire – Radical Revival

I SEE A RAGING FIRE COMING OUT OF THE NORTH. Starting in local churches as small embers spreading across America, Canada and England, consuming everything in its path. There will be many believers who will run for cover, not desiring to participate or be identified with this radical move of the Holy Spirit.  I see many Christians running away from this Radical Revival, but many others who are not even believers running to it; coming before dark and leaving after dawn. I see young people standing out in the parking lots, preaching the gospel to those who are not able to get into these Burning Buildings. Signs, wonders and miracles being manifested as a result of obedient young people who are so hungry for God that they forget to eat or sleep for days because of what they are experiencing in this Radical Revival.

This raging fire will start in local churches in different geographical locations and will spread to various places outside the local churches, including high school, college and university campuses.

This Raging Fire Revival will come in honor of those pastors who have been contending for a move of God in their church for many years, many of them paying an enormous price of opposition, suffering and ridicule. I hear the Holy Spirit saying that He is going to repay these faithful pastors with the first fruits of this Raging Fire Revival. Many well known Christian leaders will oppose it, reject it and warn others about it, but once this Radical Revival gets started, it will consume everything in its path. No man will be able to stop it because man did not start it. IT’S COMING TO A LOCATION NEAR YOU.

Prophetic Word – Dale Gentry

Interesting Quotes – Mark Brazee (Preparing for His Glory)

“In a spiritually hungry church, the gifts of the Spirit move at almost every service.  Each service leaves a residue of expectancy, spiritual hunger, and anointing.  The difference between these churches is in the desire of the people for the things of God.”

“God is not looking for great ability; He is looking for cooperation.  He is looking for people who desire to see Him move.”

“The greater the degree of expectancy, the more the Spirit of God is free to manifest Himself.” – Mark Brazee (Preparing for His Glory)

Change

  • The future belongs to people who see possibilities before they become obvious.  – Ted Levitt
  • If something has been done a particular way for fifteen or twenty years, it’s a pretty good sign, in these changing times, that it is being done the wrong way. -Elliot M. Estes
  • Habits and attitudes become deep rooted in our lives and we want to change, but to change we must have the power of God.  Real change is supernatural. – Mark Hankins
  • You are not changed unless you are doing something different.
  • Changes will not take place unless you have an encounter with the presence of God.
  • It will take more than just good intentions; it will take you having a head on collision with the glory of God.  You know you hit something.  You can not have an encounter with the glory of God and remain the same.
  • Like the caterpillar to a butterfly.  Where once you were crawling, now you are flying.  It is not only a radical change, but it is a permanent change.  You are so changed that you don’t ever go back to what you used to do and what you used to be.  Change from glory to glory.
  • Andrew Carnegie, at one time one of the wealthiest men in America, he had 43 millionaires working for him.  None of them were millionaires when they started working for him.  But he was a master at training people how to prosper.  And so they asked him, how do you do this?  Here is what Andrew Carnegie told them.  He said, shaping a man and changing someone is like seeking for gold.  He said you have to move tons of dirt to find an ounce of gold.  But he said you are not looking for dirt, you are looking for gold.
  • People stop growing when the price gets too high. -John Maxwell

Revival is a Divine attack on society

Revival is a Divine attack on society.  – Ron McIntosh

Revival Quotes from “Fresh Fire”, by Mario Murillo

•        Every awakening has a key moment in its life cycle when it dies out or is cleansed and launched afresh.

•        Healthy awakenings change the secular culture around them.

•        Leaders need friends, not fans.

•        A baptism is required when normal efforts fall well short of the fueling charge needed.

•        Joy from God is our great distinction from the world.

Giving Quote

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

-Sir Winston Churchill

If we really believed Jesus when He said that it is more blessed to give than to receive, we would be much more aggressive in our sowing. Human nature is predisposed to selfishness. It takes a conscious effort to break free from the cycle that perpetually puts self at the center. Giving is one of God’s methods of character development. We become more Christlike when we develop a lifestyle of giving.
