Get Ready for a Roller Coaster Ride! Psalms 27

What you see at the top of the mountain remember in the valley! This is what the Lord is saying to me today. We may like things to be constant. We may not like the scenery to change much. However, that is not what this year is going to look like. There is going to be movement and change. You cannot have momentum without these. You cannot stay the same and change at the same time. We need to be sensitive to the movement of the Spirit and move with Him. This is the constant, so to speak, that will keep us in the midst of ups and downs this year.

David said, “When thou didst say, ‘Seek My face,” my heart said to Thee, ‘Thy face, O LORD, I shall seek.'” (Psalms 27:8 NASB)

The Presence of God will be the stabilizing factor in our lives this year. The two banks of the river of God will always be the Word and the Spirit. This year, as never before, we must get into His presence and hear what what He is speaking. Then, we will be sustained through times of turbulence and triumph.

David concludes Psalm 27 with these words, let them be a word for us for this year:

Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.

(Psalms 27:14 NASB)

  1. Aww, I was looking forward to hearing this, but the blog says this is no longer available on all of your “listen nows”….checked the first three and it all said the same thing!

  2. I will look into what has happened to the media. In moving to a new domain some things may not have made it. I am looking at posting regularly this year. Hope you come back soon!
